Acceptance of terms
These Terms govern your use of Parrivo, a service developed and operated by Little Elephant Inc. By creating an account, using Google sign-in, starting a trial, purchasing a subscription, or using Parrivo, you agree to these Terms of Service. The Privacy Policy is a separate notice describing how Parrivo handles parent and child information.
- If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.
- A parent or legal guardian must separately consent to the child-data practices described in the Privacy Policy before a child begins learning.
- Questions can be sent to admin@parrivo.com before using the service.
Eligibility and student use
Parrivo is designed for vocabulary, reading, writing, review, and quiz practice for Grade 1-12 students.
- A parent or legal guardian must create and own the account, agree to these Terms, consent to the child-data practices described in the Privacy Policy, confirm that consent through the parent account email, and supervise the child's use.
- The initial Parrivo service provides one private family learning profile per parent-owned account.
- If you believe a child created an account without proper permission, contact admin@parrivo.com.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for account information, login security, and activity through your account.
- Provide accurate account information and keep login details secure.
- Do not share access in a way that avoids subscription limits, account controls, or security protections.
- Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access or account misuse.
Google sign-in
Parrivo may let users create or access accounts with Google Identity Services.
- Google sign-in verifies your Google account and may create or connect a Parrivo account using your verified email and Google account ID.
- You remain responsible for keeping your Google account secure.
- Parrivo may refuse to automatically connect Google sign-in to administrator or non-student accounts for security reasons.
Learning content and student submissions
Parrivo provides practice materials, activities, review games, quizzes, progress tools, and feedback features.
- Students may submit answers, sentences, writing responses, comments, and quiz activity through the service.
- You are responsible for content submitted through the account and should not submit private personal information or sensitive details.
- Student writing and comments are private to the account and are not displayed to other learners or in public profiles, galleries, community feeds, or leaderboards.
- Parrivo may process, moderate, restrict, hide, or remove submitted content to provide the service and protect users.
- The student or account owner retains ownership of original student submissions. You grant Little Elephant Inc. only the limited, non-exclusive right needed to store, process, reproduce, and display those submissions within the private account for feedback, scoring, progress, moderation, security, support, and legal compliance.
- Parrivo does not use student submissions for advertising, public promotion, sale, or training general-purpose artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
Curriculum and question bank rights
The Parrivo Grade 1-12 learning content and question bank, including curriculum frameworks, unit structures, vocabulary lists, definitions, example sentences, lesson materials, quiz questions, answer choices, correct-answer data, explanations, review activities, reading passages, writing prompts, and learning progression materials, are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights owned by Little Elephant Inc.
- You may access this content only through Parrivo for personal, family, classroom, or authorized learning use under your account and subscription terms.
- You may not copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, sell, license, sublicense, mirror, frame, export, compile, or create a competing content library from Parrivo curriculum or question bank materials without written permission from Little Elephant Inc.
- You may not remove copyright notices, ownership notices, watermarks, metadata, attribution, or access controls from Parrivo content.
Acceptable use
Use Parrivo only for lawful learning, account, and support purposes.
- Do not disrupt the platform, attempt unauthorized access, bypass security, scrape protected areas, upload malicious code, or interfere with other users.
- Do not copy, reverse engineer, resell, or commercially exploit Parrivo content or software without permission.
- Do not submit harmful, abusive, unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or privacy-invasive content.
Automated access and AI training
Parrivo content and data may not be collected or used outside the service except as expressly allowed by these Terms or by written permission from Little Elephant Inc.
- Do not use bots, crawlers, scrapers, browser automation, bulk download tools, data mining tools, or similar automated methods to access, copy, extract, index, monitor, or test Parrivo content or systems without written permission.
- Do not use Parrivo curriculum, lessons, question bank materials, answers, explanations, student-facing prompts, or exported content to train, fine-tune, evaluate, benchmark, or improve any machine learning model, artificial intelligence system, dataset, search index, or content generation system without written permission.
- Do not use Parrivo content to generate derivative worksheets, quizzes, apps, tutoring products, content databases, or educational services for resale, distribution, or public posting without written permission.
Subscriptions, trials, and billing
Parrivo may offer free trials, free access, paid subscriptions, or plan changes. Purchases made through the iOS or iPadOS app are processed by Apple through the App Store; eligible website purchases are processed by Stripe.
- The storefront shows the applicable currency, price, subscription duration, trial terms, taxes, and included access before purchase.
- App Store subscriptions are charged to the purchaser's Apple Account and renew automatically for the displayed period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple may charge the renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Stripe subscriptions renew automatically according to the website checkout terms until canceled.
- Plan features, pricing, trial length, renewal dates, and access rules may vary by offer and may change prospectively.
Cancellation and refunds
The parent account owner must manage cancellation and refund requests through the provider that processed the purchase.
- App Store subscriptions can be viewed, changed, or canceled through the Apple Account subscription settings. App Store refund requests are reviewed and processed by Apple under Apple's policies.
- Stripe subscriptions can be managed through the Parrivo billing portal when billing is enabled. Stripe-related refund requests can be sent to admin@parrivo.com with the parent account email and billing details.
- Deleting a Parrivo account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription; cancel the subscription in the App Store subscription settings.
- Canceling a subscription stops future renewal unless the applicable App Store or Stripe purchase terms state otherwise.
- Access may continue through the paid period or trial period shown in the account, unless the account is suspended or terminated.
Service changes and availability
Parrivo is provided as available and may change over time.
- We may add, remove, update, pause, or limit features, content, plans, pricing, or access rules.
- We may perform maintenance or suspend service during security, billing, technical, or operational issues.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect accuracy, or that every activity will meet every educational need.
Suspension and termination
Little Elephant Inc. may suspend, restrict, or terminate Parrivo accounts that violate these terms, create risk, abuse the service, or require action for legal or security reasons.
- Contact support if you believe an account action was made in error.
- Some records may be retained after account closure for billing, legal, security, backup, or legitimate operational reasons.
- Sections that by nature should survive termination may continue to apply.
Intellectual property
Parrivo, its software, interface, curriculum structure, content, question banks, branding, and related materials are owned by Little Elephant Inc. or its licensors.
- You may use Parrivo only as allowed by these terms and the service interface.
- You may not remove notices, misuse branding, or copy materials for competing products, unauthorized distribution, automated extraction, or AI training.
- Student submissions remain owned by the student or account owner and are subject only to the limited service-operation license described in the Learning content and student submissions section.
Changes to these terms
Little Elephant Inc. may update these Terms as Parrivo changes.
- The updated date at the top identifies the current version. Material Terms changes will be communicated to the parent account by email or in-product notice before they take effect.
- When required by law or when a material change requires a new agreement, the parent account owner must accept the updated Terms before continued use.
- Changes to child-data collection, use, or disclosure are governed by the Privacy Policy and may require new verifiable parent or guardian consent.

- These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without limiting mandatory consumer or privacy rights that apply in the user's place of residence.
- Subject to mandatory local rights, disputes that cannot be resolved with support will be brought before the courts located in Ontario, Canada.
Disclaimers and limits
Parrivo is a learning practice tool, not a school, tutor, test-prep guarantee, or professional educational evaluation.
- The service is provided without warranties to the fullest extent allowed by law.
- To the fullest extent allowed by law, Parrivo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to every user.
